Lighting in Salmon Arm

Pot lights, a fixture that flickers, or a room that needs its own circuit. Call now.

A single fixture that flickers is often a loose connection or a tired lamp holder. A set of pot lights is a different job: the ceiling, the insulation, and the breaker all matter. We match the fixture to the ceiling. A light that sits in insulation needs a rating for that use. We will say so before we cut holes.

What changes the price

  • How many lights, and whether they can share a circuit that already has room.
  • A new circuit back to the panel, which is longer work and usually needs a permit.
  • Access above the ceiling, and whether the attic is tight or full of insulation.
  • A dimmer, a three-way switch, or a fixture over a stair.

The cost page lists a typical range per pot light on an existing circuit. A new circuit, or lights in a vaulted ceiling, will not match that line. We price the room we can see, or from photos of the ceiling and the panel.

If a light sparked or the canopy is scorched, treat it as urgent and use theemergency electrician page. Switch that breaker off if you know which one it is, and leave the fixture on the ceiling.
